APA Hotel Akihabaraeki-Denkigaiguchi

It¿s fairly priced hotel with good location. It¿s best if you are just looking for a place to spend a night as it comes with little tight space and all basic amenities you can find in good hotels.

As people mentioned in the comments, lift certainly takes a lot of time for you to go up and down.

Our room had sewer smell, it was better after we turned on AC

The facility is clean and everything is very organized/straightforward. Hotel staff are decently accommodating and easy to communicate with

The room we had did not feature space under the bed for luggage storage making it a very "snug" fit for us.

The property has all the necessities in a great location at the intersection of 2 JR lines.

The room is quite small and the WiFi is terrible, which is surprising for Japan. They even have a dedicated network for each room. For the price, I think it was a decent value, but next time I would perhaps pay up for a bigger room. The bed and pillows were firm, which is common in Asia, so it’s probably just me.

Our room was very tight on space but the bed was awesome. I did not wake up with a backache. I need to find out what kind of matress they use. I forgot to look.

The bathroom was always hot, like a heater was on. In the winter that would be great, but in July it was to hot in there

Good location, modern, very clean, easy check in and check out.

Not that far to walk to the subway station and shopping areas

Room was small but it was okay

Good location two blocks away from the main street so very quiet. I was waiting for a package to arrive by noon even though I was checked out at ten and they received and held it for me as well as my luggage while I waited and got some food. Excellent location good value.

Pretty poor APA and I’ve stayed at other APA hotels. It was very dirty, got woken up very early by housekeeping and other hotel guests throughout the night. There are many clubs around and they are very loud drunk people on the weekends.There is no laundry to wash clothing which was poor. The reception staff never greeted us and I just waited by the desk for them to greet me to try to check in as the lady just keep looking at her computer. It was so awkward and she is pretty blunt and rude. Possibly the worst we have had at any hotels in Japan. Spent over $300 a night and it definitely wasn’t worth it. Room right next to the lift and the tiniest shoebox room. Would not recommend. Sleep on the street it would be better than this!

The toilet seat was not stable. Maybe a previous customer who broke it , the hotel was okay and clean , nice location but not my favourite APA branch

Its clean and in perfect location close to everything in akihabara

It can sometimes be noisy outside but if you’re a heavy sleeper you will be fine. Just pack ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper

The location is great if you love to scour the 2nd hand stores, additionally Lawson is a stones throw away.

Room was a little small, additionally the inability to use any cooling/open the window. While it was winter, it was very warm in the room.

Great and easy location that's close to everything you really need. Rooms were spacious enough and provides many amenities that I know when I stay at APA I don't need to pack many toiletries.

The room is compact but well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. The bed is not too small, providing a comfortable stay. A large suitcase can be opened one at a time, but this is not an issue. The room is clean, and the location is excellent—close to shops, malls, and the train station. It offers great value for the price. If I have the chance to visit again, I would definitely stay here again.

During my stay, the weather was cold, but the room’s temperature could only be adjusted to heating mode. This made it feel a bit too warm at night while sleeping.

Tiny room. Only APA we stayed at but they seem to be all over the place. Good location for sight seeing and checking out all the cool anime stores in the area.

For unknown reasons the wifi performance this time is quite unsatisfactory. The TV remote control was also malfunctioning and the only functional buttons are the on/off and TV button.

Everything, Bed was comfortable and the Place was extremely good. Directly Beside Surugaya and Madarake

The pillow in the room is just a Mat. Would need to request for an additional pillow(It's free)

Great location for a good price in Akihabara, close to anything you might want to see

Booked the room and the smoking room was way cheaper, but I didn't notice at time of booking and couldn't change it once there and talking to the staff without incurring additional fees for a non-smoking room. Not the biggest deal, but you could tell it was a smoking room as soon as you walk in and could determine some, even if you smoke, but overall a pleasant experience. Only real downside was the pillows. If you're used to western style fluffy pillows, you're out of luck, pillows are very thin and offer little support even with the two provided

The location was ok. There’s a family mart right next to it.

The rooms are incredibly tiny.The bed is pressed directly against the wall and so unless the curtain is open, you will have it directly above you.The air conditioner did not have the option to not be hot, so the room was uncomfortable warm at night.
